Johan Boliva

Johan was dancing Salsa from the young age of 5 and started his professional journey by joining his first dance academy as a young teen in high school and he just flourished from there onwards.

He specialises in authentic Caribbean dance genres with Cuban Salsa and Reggaeton being his favourites styles.

Johan's authentic dance skills have been instilled in him from the Cubans back in Venezuela and if you have ever watched him on the dance floor, you can see the cultural technique, dance background and vibe emanating from his dancing soul.

He teaches Cuban Salsa classes on Sundays and will be running various Workshops and Choreographies through out the year with performance opportunities all over Australia for the Latin Dance Scene here in Brisbane and we are so excited he has joined our Rio family 💜
