Madalyn Milazzo's journey into the world of dance began at the tender age of 10. Initially, dance was a complement to her musical theatre training, but it soon grew into a deep and abiding passion. She immersed herself in the diverse realms of ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary dance, mastering each form with her characteristic zeal and grace.
At 19, she took a significant leap, turning her passion into her profession. She landed her first job in dance right here in Brisbane, teaching ballroom full-time. Those initial three years were a time of immense growth and learning, not just for her students, but for her as an educator and artist.
For over 10 years now, Madalyn Milzzo has been a guiding force in Brisbane’s Latin programs. What truly sets her apart is her favorite aspect of teaching – watching her students fall head over heels for the exhilarating high of performing. She finds immense joy in witnessing their journey as they experience a profound sense of belonging within the dance community.
Her teaching philosophy goes beyond just dance steps. She believes in nurturing the spirit, encouraging self-expression, and fostering a sense of community among her students. Her classes are more than just learning steps and routines; they are about creating a shared experience, a space where everyone feels valued and connected.
